Hey friends, I recently had the pleasure of photographing the most beautiful, laid back wedding at Patapsco State Park and I couldn’t wait to share all the details with you. Nicole and her mom grew and dried all the flowers for the wedding, and let me tell you, they were absolutely stunning. The way they even decorated the candles with dried flower petals was such a creative touch and truly made everything feel so authentic.
The park itself is one of my favorite hiking spots, so I felt right at home and in my element. We started the day with a first look on the river beach, took walk to Cascade Falls for some gorgeous wedding party and couples photos, and swung by swinging bridge as well. The bridesmaid dresses were mismatched, giving off the perfect forest fairy vibe that matched the overall aesthetic of the day so well.
Overall, it was a fun and relaxed day full of candid moments and I feel so grateful to have been a part of it. This wedding was a true reflection of Nicole and Andy’s personalities, and I’m so thankful to have been able to capture those moments for them. Here’s to more creative and artsy state park weddings like this one in the future!
