Fells Point Engagement Session

Rhea and Patrick’s engagement session fell on the coldest day of the year, so we improvised. We spontaneously found an indoor location, got some hot drinks to warm up, and moved back outside just in time for sunset. Their four legged companion Roux joined us for a few shots and we were able to get so much variety in just one session.

We met in Fells Point in front of the Sagamore Pendry, and decided to hop inside for a minute because we were already freezing before the session even started. We were able to get some cozy moody indoor shots and then some fun, romantic photos in the Sagamore Pendry courtyard. Once we warmed up we decided to have puppy Roux join the party, walked around the streets of Fells point and finished our session with water views and a wonderful wintery golden and blue hour.

Common Questions

What does “documentary style” mean in photography? +

It means I focus on real connection and honest moments instead of curated setups. Your photos will feel natural and true to you.

Do you still take posed portraits? +

If you want to, yes. But let’s do it in a relaxed and efficient way. We’ll capture the group and couples photos you want, then move back into the flow of the day.

How long does it take to get our photos? +

For weddings, I deliver full galleries within 10 weeks. For engagement sessions, galleries are delivered within 4 weeks. Your wedding videos will be ready within 12 weeks.

Do you travel? +

Yes! I’m based in Maryland and often work in DC, Virginia, and Pennsylvania,, but I’ll happily travel wherever your story takes me.

What’s required to book? +

A signed contract and retainer to secure your date. From there, I’ll guide you through everything leading up to your session or wedding.
