Weddings are special occasions that require a lot of planning and preparation.
An important part of the wedding process is planning your engagement session. I don’t only recommend engagement sessions so you have some cute photos for your save-the-dates and wall decor, it’s also such a great ice breaker before your wedding day where we get to hang out and get to know each other. Katie and Sean, who are getting married in the fall at the Cloisters Castle in Maryland, wanted an engagement session in nature with fall colors that had a different vibe than their wedding venue. Thankfully, I have an extensive location guide for all my couples with a variety of locations to choose from. Katie and Sean chose Great Falls as their location, and it was the perfect spot for their session.
Great Falls is a beautiful park located in Maryland&Virginia with a breathtaking view of the Potomac River. The park is known for its scenic trails, beautiful waterfalls, and stunning fall foliage. Katie and Sean were looking for a natural setting that would complement the fall theme of their wedding, and Great Falls provided just that. With its vibrant colors and natural beauty, Great Falls was the perfect backdrop for their engagement session.
Katie’s all-black outfit was a bold choice that perfectly complemented the natural colors of the fall foliage. Her makeup was amazing and accentuated her natural beauty. To top things off, she wore a black hat that added a touch of uniqueness to her overall look. Their session was right around Halloween, so the vibe was perfect for the season.
Katie and Sean’s Great Falls engagement session was a beautiful and unique experience. The natural setting and fall foliage provided the perfect backdrop for their photos. The outfits, makeup and accessories added a touch of personality to the session which I adored and truly sparked my creativity. Last but not least, we had SO much fun!
I can’t wait to see how they incorporate their unique personalities into their big day, and I’m so grateful I’ll get to document all of it.
